Was I Dreaming
The other day,out in the yard while sitting beneath a treeWhat was it you suppose I saw? A little fairy looking at me
She had a little mushroom hat, a rose was in her hair
She was sprinkling fairy dust around the roses there
I asked her to please speak to me, she said "I'm in a hurry
But you can find us everywhere.. there is no need to worry
For our job is never ending,there's lots of work to do
We are around just look real hard,we've always been with you
You humans are always in a hurry..just like us it seems
So many of you never look but we visit you in dreams
Many of you don't believe in what your eyes behold
They'll think I'm daft is what you say,you never walk the streets of gold

Do You Remember When?
On moonbeams and butterfly wingsTo dance among the stars
She flitters across the milkyway
To be wherever you are
To bring you joy and laughter
To dry away your tears
She reminds us of a lighter time
When life's pressures were not here
When there was time to sit and dream
About what life had in store
But now the children rarely stop
To think of her anymore
So in the clouds she does reside
Saddened by the years
So maybe it should be us now
Who dries away her tears

The Fairies Party
Look, here comes the queenWearing her golden crown
She is such a vision of loveliness
Wearing her rosebud gown
Her shoes are made of acorns
And earrings born of the dew
The stage is set for the party
Crickets play a tune or two
The lady moths are all upset
I swear it is a sight
As they yell to their husbands
Stay away from that porch light!!
The sprites put on their very best
And join in all the fun
Beneath the stars they sing and dance
Until the morning sun
